Drift Inn Bed & Breakfast

A new house built in 2008 at Mulberry Grove, Tryphena, just a 2 minute stroll away from a safe swimming beach offering bed and breakfast.

Two rooms available, both with a garden outlook where native birdlife is abundant.  Tui, kaka and banded rail are frequent visitors. One bedroom offers a queensize bed and the other a kingsize bed and deck.  Both rooms serviced daily.  Shared bathroom. 

Breakfast included (continental or cooked) either upstairs in an open plan area with views of bush, garden and a peak of Mulberry Grove beach or downstairs on the deck.
 

2 minutes walk to Cafe/Bistro and boat & kayak hire.  Tasty meals, to tempt most palettes at local restaurants are a short drive or a 30/40min walk away.

Not suitable for children or pets.

Pickup from airport and wharf upon request.

Hire cars can be arranged.

Your hosts Jenny and Ken discovered 'the Barrier' 20 years ago on a weekend break when they were very taken with the natural beauty of the island and the warmth of the people.  Within a couple of months they had bought their section in Tryphena.  They love to go fishing and enjoy the fabulous beaches, swimming, beachcombing and climbing around the rocks at low tide where the rock pools are abundant with sea life.  Jenny enjoys her vegetable garden and Ken enjoys cooking and landscaping their section.  Their two daughters, now grownup, visit whenever their busy careers allow.
