Fenella Christian - A contemporary mixed media artist who has been living on Great Barrier Island for over 30 years. Located at Schooner Bay.  Ph:4290 414.

Peter Edmonds - A  talented wood worker who does carving, furniture, bowls and building. Located at Schooner Bay.  Ph:4290 414. 

Keith N. Simpson - Sculptor in Stainless Steel - and painter of abstracts combining primary oil colours and steel. Exhibits at Aotea Gallery on GBI. Ph:4290 080.

Barbara McGrath, A potter working with earthenware clay using a Japanese method, Raku, firing to 1000o then immediately moving work and covering with wet sawdust. The effect of copper glaze can be quite unique and varied.  Ph:4290 009.

Michelle Hartley-Scott (Shell) - I have lived on Great Barrier for almost 22 years and started making arts and crafts on my kitchen table.  In my own studio I make unique mosaic, beaded, crystal and paua jewellery, mirrors, frames, black boards, mannequins, hearts crosses and chandeliers. Elise Bishop - is a ceramic artist focused on unique hand made objects related to Tea Ceremony; teapots, tea bowls, porcelain cups, sweet plates, and other functional, sculptural pieces.  Her work has been exhibited internationally, and is in private collections in New Zealand, Australia, South Korea and Japan.  Ph:4290 677

Garth Dalton - Wood Turner. Garth has lived on Great Barrier for over 20 years and works with mainly NZ timbers some sourced on the island. His tide clocks, clocks, salt/pepper mills can be found in local stores, every one is unique. Ph: 09 4290 438
